Our History
Fenton Memorials and Vaults has been around constantly since 1882. Carl L. Butts and his wife Mary purchased the Fenton Memorial business from the Stone Family, when Carl and his wife were already accomplished Victorian sculptors. They used these skills to enhance the memorial and monument business by adding designs such as lions, Acanthus leaves, Corinthian columns and gargoyle motifs.The Butts family has been servicing the memorial needs of area families for over 50 years under the ownership of Bobby Butts and his sons, Michael and Matthew. Bobby Butts joined his mother Mary Butts in the family owned business in 1949.
Over the past 50 plus years, the Butts family has continued to operate Fenton Memorials and Vaults as a family owned business specializing in providing granite memorials of symbolic meanings and lasting beauty to families that desire to have unique and cost effective memorials added to their own family history.
Fenton vaults is currently expanding into Fenton Pre-Cast Concrete, and our products are locally produced and our products include new items such as concrete steps, landscape blocks, concrete pads and foundations, and we are constantly in the process of developing new items that we can produce at an affordable price.
Fenton Memorials and Vaults has made a tradition that includes providing quality products at affordable prices to our families, cemeteries, and funeral directors throughout the country.
